A STRONG NORDIC ALLIANCE
Our story
In the summer of 2019, we developed our first collagen products, driven by a deep love for the North — a love that still forms the foundation of Vild Nord today. We carefully selected Nordic partners who shared our passion for Nordic ingredients, while ensuring the supply chain remained as short as possible. In September of the same year, we proudly launched our first collagen variants in food-state quality, based on marine collagen from the Norwegian manufacturer Seagarden.
Over the following years, the Vild Nord brand grew alongside Seagarden's own collagen brand, initially as competitors in various local markets. Vild Nord became known for its unique Nordic products, while Seagarden earned a reputation for high-quality, sustainable collagen. Despite the competition, we shared a deep respect for the majestic Nordic nature and a set of common values. At the end of 2021, we chose to turn competition into collaboration by merging the two collagen brands.
Today, Vild Nord is a Danish-Norwegian owned company with offices in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Cap d'Antibes. The main owner is a Norwegian family business, firmly rooted in the values of quality, transparency, and a close connection to the sea and its heritage. The other owners are deeply involved in the daily operations of Vild Nord, helping to shape every aspect of the company with care and commitment.
We are proud that Vild Nord remains strong and grounded in the nature that shaped us, with resources and greater knowledge across borders. This allows us to continue doing what we love: developing our universe of luxurious, delicious, and high-quality nutritional supplements.

Nordic supply chain
With trust in, and love for, the wild Nordic nature, we have sourced raw materials that offer something truly special when it comes to inner beauty. Through our passionate suppliers, we have established a small supply chain for our primary ingredients, bringing us marine collagen from Norway, wild forest blueberries from Sweden, and wild-harvested seaweed from Scotland. Everything is then sent to Karmøy, an island on the Norwegian west coast, for production using our own unique recipes. Vild Nord is part of nature – we are grateful to work with that every single day.
